Located in a quiet residential area, 200m away you can find several useful commercial establishments, such as pastry shop, restaurant, supermarket, hairdresser, kiosk, butcher and beauty centre. The bus stop, with destination to several points of the city, is also nearby.
The leisure activities in Viana do Castelo have as protagonists the river, the sea and the green spaces, calling for outdoor activities and sports! 300m away you can find a quiet fluvial beach and an ecovia with a privileged view over the Lima River, the city and the Santa Luzia hill. If you want to enjoy the river, you can opt for canoeing, kayaking or wakeboarding.
At the end of the beautiful avenue of trees, you will find Praia do Cabedelo, with its extensive sandy beach and unique conditions for the practice of several nautical sports, such as Kitesurf, Windsurf, Paddle, Bodyboard and Surf. The bars that support the beach have a sports equipment rental service. If you prefer indoor sports activities, you can opt for the gym on Cabedelo beach, with spa.
When you wish to move to the other side of the river, to visit the centre of Viana do Castelo, you can choose to cross the Eiffel bridge or take the ferryboat that will take you to your destination. Viana is one of the most traditional cities in Portugal, it has a typical architecture of the region, several historical monuments and museums that exhibit the rich cultural heritage of the city, of which include the acclaimed Nossa Sra. Da Agonia festivities, which last for several days during the month of August. In the city centre, you can also taste the famous Portuguese gastronomy in a wide choice of pastry shops and restaurants.
